Wine has held a sacred place in Greek culture for over 4,000 years. From ancient symposiums and Dionysian celebrations to today’s organic and family-run vineyards, Greece continues to stand out as a country with a deep-rooted winemaking identity and a remarkable diversity of terroir.
Stretching from the mountainous slopes of Northern Greece to the volcanic soils of the Cyclades and the sun-kissed terrain of Crete, each region contributes something truly special aroma, acidity, minerality, and character.
